Isnt 1.4vcore a bit much for 45nm? I thought that 1.36 was the max. What is the vcore reading in windows? Does it drop to a safe level?

I would have to guess that the chip is close to its max, thats good for an E7300. What kinda temps you running?
I am running 72C but I was just trying to get it to there just to say I did. Right now I am running (all the time) what is in my sig. And no it doesn't drop into the safe zone... The max vcore for a 45nm chip is 1.6v. The 1.3625 is just to scare you from going higher. But it isn't like I am running it full time like that.

The temps seems a little to high for a Xiggy

76C is pretty hot. Even my E7300 @ 3.6GHz doesn't get that hot, and I use the stock cooler.
This is OC at 3.8 with 1.45 vcore. At 3.6 I get max 65C with ITB.
That is a bit on the hot side, perhaps think about reseating or even lapping your cpu/hsf.
I can't exactly lap a s1283....

You can actually, just don't take off a ton of metal. I don't know how flat the bottom of the heat pipes are, but if they aren't totally flat, you are loosing some efficiency that way. Also, you can still lap the CPU

I am getting 66C max at 4Ghz, running prime 6 hours.
e7x00 chips arent solder that could make a difference
