ok i wanna get a better cooler, becuz i oc'ed my 3800+ to 2.5 and it was already like 55 at full load. can any recommend a good cooler for not too much money? i was thinking about this, but i dont know if its any good.<br><br><a href="http://www.arctic-cooling.com/cpu2.php?idx=80" target="_blank">http://www.arctic-cooling.com/cpu2.php?idx=80</a>

The Freezer 64 is great for the money. Easy installation, performs well, and it's quiet. If you look around, you can sometimes get it for less than $25.

I had the freezer on my x 3800 @ 2.5ghz, I got load temps in the high 40's.

High 40's are fine, it was like 47-48c. Anything up to about 55c is ok, you don't want to run you system 24/7 @ 55c tho.

Anything under 50° is good, it gives you a 5°c headroom then if the room gets hot or what not (but the colder the better).<br><br>
Im hitting 42°c with a 22°c room.
