Seeing that all I have for storage is a 2 year old Maxtor 40GB IDE, I think its safe to say it's time for an upgrade! I'm starting to see '4GB Required HDD space' on games a lot, and the 100GB+ HDDs are getting cheap! OK here's what I need: 100GB space or more (Unless you can convince me to go 80GB), I'd like it to be SATA, and keep it around $80 or less!

For $80 you're looking at an 80 GB PATA (aka IDE). SATA are running around $87... I recommend Western Digital as I use them all the time and whenever there is a problem they are really easy to get an RMA from if you need it.

Soon, games will be normally about 4gb anyways, so why not go for the 120? That is my best advice, but i am just a stupid pollock, what do i know?
