[Finished] 2 EVGA GTX 780

567 Views 16 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  anticommon
Hey guys, I have 2 EVGA GTX 780s. One is a SC and the other is the vanilla edition. I originally had the SC bios on both and they clock nearly identical. I have since put the 1.212 vbios on them and they will run pretty well on air.

I've been able to get them to 1208/3400 with no fuss and low temps. I still have both boxes and they have not been registered with EVGA yet.

Reference cooler design on the "vanilla" version?

If so, then probably $610 for the Vanilla, $620 for the SC.

And knock $15-20 off if you want a fairly fast sale (although you probably wouldn't need to).

Classy or Lightning
I'd say around $610 per card.

However for a quick sale I'm thinking you'd have to ask for around $575 or so - there are 2 780's sitting in the classifieds now for $600 each and neither one is getting much attention I don't think.

Believe it or not most of the people shopping around here are broke as ****. If you wanna sell a big item go to ebay.

Look at how busted 1/2 of the sig rigs are around here man, lol.

Yeah that's possibly, although the OCN community produces some of the nicest rigs ever built as well.

Most people don't want to turn to eBay though, I've heard they have large fees.

Good lord. Give it a rest. Any rig without a $650 780 to you is a "busted up rig". LOL. You're not helping anyone.

Anyway, to OP: I'd agree with the $600-$610 pricepoint. Maybe lower if you want to sell faster.

I'd go with around $590-600. I just sold a Galaxy GC 780 and got $610 for it - paypal - shipping... $570 in my pocket. Kind of a shame.
