Big zero so far--I followed the instructions and nothing happened--well the Chilly1 turned on. counted down and then chilled to -23 then went into an idle mode or something--never turned on the pC.
Not sure what to do--so I am waiting for the count down again.
Well I am on top of the phase now--it is on at -41C. The problem now is trying to get the ABit board to see the DVD drive so i can load Windows. I have tried everything...I hate stupid stuff like this. All I can think is that the 18X DVD RAM drive is somehow not registering as a CD ROM. No sign of it in BIOS or POST and all I get is a disk read error when I try to load windows...ARRRRGH
Hmm...Go through all the obvious stuff, like IDE and power cables hooked up, jumpered properly, make sure your IDE slots are on...Yes, on the DFI boards, you can turn IDE ports on/off
Worse news...now the board will not start at all..not sure what is going on so i just cleared CMOS and am waiting for the countdown.
I mean nothing--I can bridge the PW SW pins on the header and nada--the board ia ll lit up and the digital display read 0.0 and that's all she wrote...
Board lights up --will not start. Cleared CMOS twice with the PSU unplugged. Swapped RAM. I dunno.
One thing I did that was pretty stupid was I saw a stored BIOS setting in the load form profiles area of BIOS and I loaded it...it was for 4.5 ghz with the RAM running 1:1. Maybe some other tweaks...I dunno. I would not think that would kill it though. Not sure what I did or what happened. The phase works except that it does not switch the board on so even with a seperate switch nothing. I tried the onboard power and resets--nothing. Nice light and a nice digital readout (0.0) but nothing happens.
Pretty sorry state of affairs and I can only blame myself.

Really a drag.
4.5? That's most likely that it killed your CPU, woah.
