Hello all,
So I have enough extra money right now to upgrade my PC, enough to make it decent and last for the next couple of years. My current rig is in the sig. So here is what I have lined up after reading a couple the reviews for them and keeping the price under 1400.

GPU: EVGA 02G-P4-3660-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB x 2 for sli - $589.98 ($294.99 each)

PSU: CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W - $149.99

RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1866 - $99.99

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB - $214.99

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K - $229.99

CPU Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H80i - $94.99

Total pre - mir: $1379.93/$1400

I already have everything else, HDDs/SSD, Case, Monitors, etc. So just really looking at any input on these items. I considered the AMD 8350 Vishera, but I wasn't happy with the motherboard selection and I need one that has at least 8 Sata connections. If anyone knows a great board for AMD I would reconsider. All input is appreciated, thanks in advance.

i agree with the guys. you don't need sli just yet.. the highest end card with a single screen for you will get you going for about 1.5 years then you can add another one.
I would recommend 7970 Vapor X 3GB GHZ edition or the 4GB if you want to go crazy.

There are no 4 GB versions of the 7970 just saying

. There's 3 GB and 6 GB. 6 GB is crazily too much and will most likely not come into play with a single GPU, you'll fall short of GPU power before you actually need more VRAM. It'll be good if you run insane amounts of texture mods, AA and ultra high resolutions and have trifired/quadfired 7970's.

Drop the UD5H for the UD3H, really not that much of a difference. Also, you can get a 750W Seasonic FULLY MODULAR for the same price after rebate on Newegg.

Don't see the reasoning behind spending the extra cash on the Sniper Series, you can get the G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB 2133MHz with 15% off Code on Newegg, making it only $14 more than the 1866. Have to order tonight though for that code.

Going with the UD3H saves you about $50. Then with that $50 you can put it towards upgrading one of the cards to a GTX 670. Then if you scrounge up another $50 you can have two 670's in SLI opposed to two 660Ti's.

Try and find Samsung RAM. It's tough, but you should get it eventually.
Only Semi-Modular.

If you can't get Samsung Ram, it's not really a big deal because the price has been increased nearly $10-15 depending on where you look for 8GB kits; so it's around $50-55 dollars anyway now. That's about as much as 8GB of G.Skill 2133MHz. Which you should be able to overclock anyway.
