Flames to turn to Santa hats

I think that for the 12 days of Christmas, the flames above a user's name should turn to Santa hats.

Thoughts?

or atleast flames with santa hats on them. and i think you mean "the flames below a users name"?
I do not celebrate Christmas, so I do not want any part of my account to have anything to do with it.

Ah, good point. May it would be an option for each user instead of an automatic system-wide change.

Possibly. But I have to confess that even that would bother me.

Everything has to be politically correct guys. Can't offend anybody who's in the minority. Offending the majority is perfectly fine.

I suppose this would involve a ton of work too. Not only that, but I imagine it would also eat up some bandwidth.
Santa Hats - No, Not everyone participates in certain holidays.

Snowflakes to signify winter/snow I would say would be acceptable.

That would be kind of fruity tho.

Nah. We have santa hat avatars, if you must show christmas cheer. I'm sure practitioners of other holidays can put on some sort of symbol for that holiday as well, so long as they don't get their pants in a bunch and start getting offended at other people's symbols.
Also, our friends down under don't have a snowy winter at the moment so can't really do a winter theme either. I think the hats, snow, and trees in avatars are plenty.

I think the avatar slot just a few pixels below the flame is a fine slot for members who would like some holiday cheer to express that desire - Overclock.net will not be making any formal changes to the site's design for those occasions.
