I'd imagine if you could boot from a USB drive you'd beable to do it. I don't have one currently to play around with, but as long as it acted like a regular drive I see no reason why you wouldn't beable to.
I haven't even used a floppy for a year or two to flash with, normally just put the program/bios file on to the hard drive and boot to dos using a CD. I don't even have a floppy drive in my house let alone one of my computers.
