Hey fellas.. just flashed my BIOS to a newer version, however now that i am on windows.. CPU-Z tells me im still on the older version..

Flashed again just incase. and now in the bios it clearly shows the new version but CPU-Z does not..?

have i done something wrong?!?

Burnt the image to a CD

Restarted and booted from CD

Ran an installer of somesort (looked quite retro)

Said bios flash complete.. an then restarted..

As long as the BIOS indicates it's the newer version, it flashed okay.... did the BIOS date in CPU-Z change?

nope... date hasnt changed..

i have noticed a few new features in my bios that werent there before.. so it must obviously be flashed..

Your good to go, Just be happy you didn't fry the BIOS , Also don't rely on software to tell u what you got. Just look @ your post boot and it will clearly state your new bios and new date.. CPUz has a bug obviously,,, gl,

ok well.. CPU-Z Says im on the P06, removed post boot tells me in on the P06 also, however in the actual BIOS there are features that werent there before.. so somethings obviously changed..

Help
