Flashing White Dots across screen

Hey everyone,

So this problem has been bugging me for a while now. This started happening a few weeks back, I would get flashing white dots in games/videos/and even pictures. It looks like this: http://p14nd4.com/ars/lcd-dots.png

I'm guessing it's related to the graphics card, and my 6990 is only a few months old, no overclocking except for the bios switch to 880mhz, and the temps stay at 40C. Is it related to the overclock or is there something wrong with the card? Can I even return it now after switching the bios?

Thanks a lot

Flip the switch back to position #2 and see if it still there.

Switched it and the white dots are still there....
well, its either screen related, although i doubt it,

or your videocard and or psu is goin the way of drm dlc free games
40c? maybe on idle...

white dots come from overheating, what are your load temps?
Check the refresh rate set in CCC.

Swap the cable.

Try other output and input from the card to monitor.

Uninstall Catalyst + CAP and clean it with this and re-install:

Atiman Uninstaller v.6.0.0.msi. Download Link (Run it with administrator privilege. Some antivirus software will give a false positive. Let it restarts to complete the uninstallation).
The white dots only appear in games, and I think flash media related stuff. It doesn't appear in youtube vids, but it appears on pictures on websites.

Load temps are 60-70C when playing things like BF3.

Refresh rate is 60Hz, which matches my screen. I'll try a new cable if I can get a new one, and I'll try the uninstall too.
