I've got this 'bug' too. Fly in California, it probably will have the right time. Something to do with windows 7 maybe. (a update?)
Flight Simulator X... minor annoyance... clock never right?

When I try to 'free flight' in FSX my clock is always 3 hours ahead and I have to set it back every time I start the game. I've had to do this for the past year.
I have attached a screen shot of my settings. I would assume system time means the time in my lower right corner, in other words Windows Time? Even with this checked the clock is always 3 hours wrong. Any ideas?
