Folding with an unstable OC

I wonder what will happen if I fold with an unstable OC?

^^ what they all said, although you might be able to achieve a OC that is stable for folding but unstable in games.

I've seen a few people say they can fold with overclocks that are unstable while gaming, remember that only the shaders really matter when folding though.
You will not finish work units and will be wasting your time.
if you refer to an unstable GPU oc ... you cant
i did for a while without knowing ... and found out .. checked log and it said:
error ... nan's detected (or something like that) and it stopped and started another WU until it stopped for 24 hours

you can fold on shaders straps that are higher than you can game on but unstable no

in riva I have 2 setting save gaming and then folding which is 2 straps above gaming
