I still do not understand what is going on. I don't really get why this was it's own thread, but whatever, now that you got us here, I still have no clue what you are talking about. I think it's both me not understanding and you not explaining. I mean you could always overclock ivy bridge on p67, could you not (provided you had a current bios).

im in complete agreement.

i just cant seem to wrap my brain around the fact that you are saying that uefi BIOS(s) can not overclock ivy arcitechture.

i have a uefi bios for my am3+ system and it works almost the same as a normal bios, but with mouse support..?
