if you have a intel socket 775 p4 550 3.4ghz, can you please tell me what the VCORE Voltage is ment to be, as i have a P4 550 and my VCORE Voltage always changes, what are you VCORE Voltages? Plz tell me the ones you have that are not overclocked, also tell me if the VCORE Voltage changes at all. mine goes up and down

The p4 550 is a Prescott and, as such, its normal vcore is around 1.4V.
When overclocking it you should make sure never to exceed a vcore of 1.525V (that's the max safe allowed although many overclockers report running it at 1.6V).
It is normal to have fluctuating vcore readings when you use software to monitor it. It can easily fluctuate within a range of 0.01 to 0.04 (sometimes a bit more).

It does fluctuate in the bios too but not a lot. Having 0.01-0.02V fluctuations is normal.
Have you tried flashing to the latest BIOS for your mobo ?
If it's fluctuating too much then you might have a power supply issue. I'm not just talking about total wattage. I'm also referring to how many amps you got on the 12V rail and the eventual possibility that you have a faulty psu (but that's the last option to consider so I wouldn't worry that much about it right now).
The best way to verify the psu is to test a 12v line molex connector with a multimeter (black cable for ground + yellow cable for 12V).

The processor temp you see in the bios usually corresponds to 80% load approximately. So don't worry if it's higher than your idle temp when you are inside Windows.
Still, I see you are using the Blue Orb 2 as a cooler and I think you can get better/lower temperatures if you make sure it's correctly seated and you also use some Arctic Silver 5 because you have a nice case with some good ventilation.

I know you live in Austalia and it's summer there so you cannot compare your temps to someone living in the States as it's winter there right now

Thats my full load temperature with non of my radiator rans running (I disconnect them for noise reasons when I am only lightly using the computer). When I am playing games, I plug in the fans, and my load never exceeds 40C, but thats with watercooling

ok, its about 31c in my room today

now the temps are

51c idle~72c load

ran prime95 making cpu useage 100%, and it seemed stable, but 72c, is that to hot, this is all i want:

be able to play games
system not crashing

so do i need a better cpu cooler?

This is really hot. You don't want to run your cpu at those temps everytime you play a game. Your machine might not crash but you will be considerably shortening the lifetime of your cpu.
IMO you should definitely invest in a better cooler (the Big Typhoon by all means if it fits inside your case).

A big typoon is better than water cooling in terms of cost/benifit... You can't do much better for $50.
