Forgot about my 8600gts

So today I was digging through my computer parts and stumbled across my old 8600gts. It never dawned on me I could be folding on this! I installed it into my other rig that was using a 7900 and got it folding. Here are the results:

vMod and OC the daylights out of it

You read my mind Blankthis! I may need some better cooling on it thoguh. I have it OCed lightly now and its running @ 74c.

Yeah maybe some cooling modifications are required. I've seen some absolutely insane overclocks on these cards. Is it the DDR3 version?

don't mean to highjack the thread, but I have a 8600 GT sitting and doing nothing, if I could vmod it, that would be cool. Is there a how-to anywhere? Mine is a EVGA 8600 GT (DDR3) card.

Sweet! I'm gonna use my 8600GTS as well, and guessed it would be 1.2-1.5k PPD.
