I just got a new monitor (Acer XB271HU) and I also have an old Samsung hooked up as a second monitor. Whenever I play a game in fullscreen with something like Chrome open in the background (especially if Pandora is playing), my FPS randomly drops below 10 and then goes back up for a few seconds. If I turn off G-Sync or go into Borderless Window mode, it is completely fine (or if I exit Chrome). I've tried enabling/disabling G-Sync and tried using V-Sync and nothing seems to make a difference. Not sure if this is just a problem with the newest drivers or something that I'm missing.

Using EVGA GTX 970 FTW and newest Nvidia drivers.

Used DDU and reinstalled driver and that made no difference. Had more time to test and found that now enabling VSync seems to stop the FPS drops. No idea why that would make a difference. I'm guessing it's a bug in the driver?

Edit: So for anyone having this issue related to Chrome, disabling hardware acceleration fixed it.
