FPS Low and Sound Popping

Over the past couple of days, my computer has been acting weird. The video skips, FPS goes really low, and the sound makes a buzzing popping sound. I really don't know exactly what it is. But a friend said that the RAM is probably causing this. If anyone knows what's wrong and how to fix, I'd really appreciate the help. My computer is in the sig.

Are you running HDMI? If so then it might very well be your video card dying. Don't get scared or anything, you could try re-seating your video card, re-installing drivers(which I don't doubt you may have tried already). Try running a benchmark and see if it happens there too. Any problems why sitting idle in the desktop, if not then it might be when your video card is just under stress.
