From my understanding freesync 2.0 monitors are supposed to be a higher tier from the original freesync monitors. Which makes me wonder if they're going to phase out freesync monitors.

The only monitors that I know of so far is from Samsung's CHG70 & CHG90 which are QLED monitors. Are there others?

Is there anyone out there excited that AMD was proud to announce FreeSync 2 with stricter constraints in order to deliver premium (HDR) monitors for their user base? The purpose of FS2 is to deliver
-broad FreeSync range
-LFC
-HDR
-Adaptive Overdrive
AS STANDARD MINOTOR FEATURES.

Perhaps at some future date we will see OLED or some other derivative that will greatly decrease input lag and screen lag to minuscule numbers. Perhaps one day we will see variable refresh rates as standard while depreciating static refresh rates. Or we will see them reach EOL status. IMO, all monitors should offer variable refresh rates of 30Hz-144Hz+

I'm excited that QLED is being implemented into monitors though.

Q-led ain't that special, it just sounds nice, like it's something like Oled which it isn't.
Just a filter for a bit more colors, it's still a lcd monitor and other brands for example philips calls it ultra wide colour.

True, but any kind of movement on that front is nice none the less. I truly miss the days when monitor surfaces didn't have that matte finish coating on it. But that's another conversation.

Besides, its the only Freesync 2.0 monitor I could find so far.

I like the 27" though. But one thing. I don't see adaptive resolution and I don't see freesync range

Edit:
Well, according to this review:

the range is 48hz-144hz. Not bad..
