Normal core frequency: 300 MHz
Normal memory (DDR) frequency: Set by the manufacturer at their discretion (but normally around 500 MHz).

450/400 for non-GT DDRII.
500/1000 for GT.

The core frequency stays fixed as all cores manufactured by Nvidia,
BGF has several 'Factory overclocked' high end cards, in which the core clock set about 100 MHz beyond the default... stupid idea IMO.
different manufacturers use different kinds of ram rated for different frequencies and timings.
