How do you fix the, "Frequency out of Range" after you have turned your resolution too high?

Uninstall monitor or gpu drivers? Or just hook another monitor up that supports that resolution and change it back. Just guesses.

Alot of games have exec's you can run to reset to default setting also. Unless you're on the desktop. In which case, you can just restart the computer during boot up, and usually set it to "most recent settings that worked"

In windows, boot into safe mode with networking and then uninstall your drivers, reboot and then reinstall them. That fixed it for me, when I did it.
Doesn't Windows have that 15 second roll-back thing?
I got that last week and it had nothing to do with my resolution.
It was my PCI-E frequency, I was on an all night OC'ing binge trying different Bios settings.
Whenever I went above 515 Fsb and had my PCI-E freq @ 110 I would get that meesage
