Hi there,

My friend needs an HTPC/ work/gaming PC in his living room

His specs are the same as mine lol exepct he needs a GPU now

well should he the Sapphire Radeon 5570 1 GB GDDR3 Low profile

or the

Galaxy Geforce 9600GT 512MB GDDR3 Low profile

on his moniter he will be using 1600x900

TV doesn't matter as he will only wathc movies

Gaming: BC2, TF2, etc

Advice? Rep will be provided

He has a slim case, he cannot use full height cards, only low profile

Out of those 2 I would choose the 5570 but maybe stretch to a 5670?

and if possible crossfire them
i know a 9600 wont be able to handle BC 2 very well or at all

nahhhh........hes using M-ATX and won't dish out lots of $$ for a decent X-Fire with LGA 775 mobo

but doesnt the 9600GT beat the 5570?

Get the ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB

i can confirm a 9600GT will play BC2 on medium @ 1440 X 900 as i recently replaced one with an 8800 ultra.

SLI 2x 9600GT's and you will have enough.

5570 with 1gb of ram supporting 1900x1200 as opposed to a 9600GT with 512mb ...

come on people

lol as much i would say go with that GTS250, dx11 is on the advent and well...it makes sense to buy the 5570, just get a good deal on it =D

=D i'm running it as well (5570) just wanted to make sure it would fit for my firend's dad XD

runs great, i can run BC2 at medium, execpt texture detail at high and then 2x MSAA and i think 1x AF i think

runs at like 20-30FPS only dipping to 15FPS with large explosions
