How do they compare to NH-D14 & Silver Arrow?

The Archon is on par with the D14 and Silver Arrow. I've had the Archon for a few weeks and it did a great job with only one fan. Stick on another fan for push/pull and you have a winner.

It's also as quiet as the two compared coolers.

I don't have any knowledge of the Frio, So I can't comment about it.

Archon should beat out a NH-D14/SA by probably 1C or so if you go dual TY-140, might be a slight bit noisier though.

Frio OCK has been reviewed to get fairly loud if you want to get the most out of it. It looks alot like a Mega with 2 135mm fans on basically.

frio ock is good but really louad same as original frio (anything above 1300RPM was bad)

Nope, it's quite thin compared to most other standard single tower coolers so you won't be intruding upon any ram, well unless you intend to use a 38mm thick fan you might but even then I doubt it.

The standard TY-140 fan that comes with it won't overlap any ram slots though. Make sure your case is wide enough to fit it in though, it's 170mm tall (taller than SA/D14) so if it doesn't fit, you won't be able to close your case's side panel. Go to the support tab on the page linked below for info regarding compatibility with certain mobos and such.
