Hello, I recently upgraded from a GTX 780 Phantom to a 970 G1. I have done a clean installation of the 362.00 drivers using DDU in safe mode.
Scores in Valley below. I was expecting more from the 970?

GTX 780 +150 core / +680 mem

GTX 970 +100 core / +450 mem

Before you start judging performance wise, i think u should check the difference in a game, Fps back to back. This is where it matters the most and sometimes u cant compare scores directly off benchmark's. I had the same question going from a 660ti to a 970. Even though the score wasnt that much of a difference the fps jump in games was huge.

780 to a 970 is a sidegrade.

Check out 3dmark firestrike and compare the gpu score, the 970 should pull ahead no problem.
