$80 - $10 rebate = 70 w/ tax

Found this one slick deal. Ill try to swing by there after school. I know last time they still had some of those lga1156 socket motherboards. If they do and someone wants me to pick it up for them and ship it I'm willing to do that.

Just let me know.

I am willing to ship for around $100 dollars if i do find one. That is just a estimation for i do now know the standard cost to ship something of that weight and size.

Still a great deal for those who missed the I7 860 and I5 750.

If you can't get there till after work. I would negotiate with a sales rep and maybe tip if him 10 bucks to hold it for you.

Like i mentioned i am willing to stop by my frys to see if there will be any left. After my classes that is. I'm willing to ship it to those who have an interest.

noob question. what does "black edition" do ? like they can OC better or something ?

BE has a unlocked multiplier. Easier to OC.

A jist what my understanding since i have not been amd guy for years. Black Edition comes with unlocked multiplier, usually cooler, and overclocks better.

But i am not 100% certain so do correct me if i am wrong.

does the mobo have ACC?

it's a GA-M68M-S2, by the way

^-nforce 630a sb, so I don't think it has ACC. Still a good deal though; you could sell the board and buy one with a sb710/750 if you want to try and unlock

i just bought mine during lunch time heh..they are going real fast.

i called 10am, they had 30 something in stock, then i called again at around 12:30pm and they had 5 left. by the time i got there at around 1pm, i saw only 3 left in which one of them is a open box..

Good price for that CPU alone... get the CPU, sell the mobo, buy a cheap 790 chipset mobo, overclock the f outta the processor... and voila super awesome gaming computer for cheap.

Would it be smart to but that in an eMachine with 2GB DDR2 HyperX 800 and 9600GSO? The only thing I'm worried about is the PSU, which could implode...I think 250w...

No, it's a spare I have that I'd obviously have to think real carefully about before putting in. I wouldn't mind splurging $50 for a 400w Corsair.
