Ive set up a FTP on my PC using U serv as well as trying the IIS on winXP pro.

Its all working fine, apart from I cant share certain folder on other drives. So I can only have the source file on the C drive. when I put in on another drive it wont reconise it.

Any Ideas?

I know with CesarFTP I can share folders on C: D: and even my CD and DVD burners and removable drives. When you say you can't share them is it telling you it cant share it?

Yeah, i wouldn't use Serv U or windows's version. They both suck monkey balls. I used to use IIS, but it was a pain to use multiple drive, and figuring out the whole user authentication was too much for me. I've heard good things about ceasar ftp. I personally use Cerberus FTP server. Been using it for a couple years now with absolutely no problems. You can share accross multiple drives, the user authentication is a sinch to use, and you can set it up for secure transfers. Which is nice because as everyone who sets up an FTP server should know... By default the FTP protocaol sends everything in clear-text.
