So i have two builds going on righ now and I don't know which one to keep. I have a whole computer with a FW-55 and I am building a E6300 comp right now. I need some money to finish the E6300, so I need to either forget about it and sell everything or sell the FX-55 comp.

They all both have 2GB of RAM and two either Raptors or Perps. The FX 55 has a A8N Deluxe mobo and the E6300 im planning on getting the P5B Deluxe or the Gigabyte DQ6.

I just need to know which one to give up. I do really want the E6300 build, plus I think that will be a lot faster with the proc itself, DDR2 RAM, perps or Raptors, etc.

I hope to sell this soon, whichever one I decide on selling.

I will add some pics tonight and tomorrow of all the stuff.

Keep the e6300, sell the FX-55. the Conroe is dual-core. End of discussion.

Price to Preformance. The E6300 build will cost me quite a bit more then the FX-55 Build. The E6300 is also week 29, so it is known to OC nicely.
Dual Core doesn't always mean everything.

I'd still go Dual-Core.
One processor to game or whatever, one to handle the OS. The OS being taken care of is a huge difference by itself.

Plus dual-core is becoming increasingly mainstream and you will see games and other apps use them more efficiently.

Sell the FX-55 PC and invest in a decent Core 2 Duo build. You won't regret it.

I will probably end up selling it. I just got my case today and I can't wait to get the rest of my stuff for this C2D build, so I can get started OCing.

I would sell the FX-55 too. The Core 2 Duo is easily the fastest CPU out there. If you have any good ram though at a decent price, I'll consider buying some!

Lol you are always for the C2D! I hope I get these awesome clocks you are talking about.

I am really really really considering getting the Gigabyte DQ6. I like the motherboard and it has been proven to get just as good as the P5B Deluxe.

Another C2D vote. You ought to be able to get a good 1Ghz OC w/o a hitch.

Yeah, I would be happy with a stable 3.0Ghz. I am coming from a P4 M 3.06Ghz Prescott. Both of these comps would be a major upgrade.
