Ok, i really wanna flash my FX5200 to an FX 5500. One problem... I cant find the proper bios for my card.

So i was wondering if anyone had the bios for a FX 5500 256 AGP card.
Thanks in advanced!

Sincerely,

This is the EXACT card that i have. Actually that is the one that I bought.
yeah u have a fx5200 but who maked it i.e XFX or BFG
Just use coolbits. the 5500 BIOS doesn't do anything except raise the core to 270.

EDIT: Or you could use something like X-BIOS editor and mod the timings yourself.

Actually, neither... It's just a generic FX 5200. Weird in my opinion. But yea, i looked over the whole card for any more info. Thanks for your help anyways. My friend has a FX5500oc edition from xfx, but it's pci. And that's the thing... He really thinks that his card is so much better tham mine. But mine has much more oc to it than his. I used coolbits2 and oc'd it quite a bit. So i was just figuring maybe i can oc some more if i had better bios. Thank you guys for helping me out! ^_^

I've looked everywhere, but still no go... I even used the famous, "SEARCH" button.
go here and look for the bios you need....they have almost all bois' needed for cards....and the utilities and an easy to understand guide on how to use them...
Well as laboitenoire said, it only raises core to 270, meaning if you can get your core past 300, your card will beat your friends and will be better than an FX5500...

Ok, this will solve all my questions. Will i be able to get a better oc with the 5500's bios or it doesn't matter. Here is what i am currently oc'd at...

So if i can het a higher clock with the 5500 bios then i will flash them. Otherwise i'll stay where i'm at. Thank you guys for all your help!

Well, did you just do detect optimal frequencies? or you manually overclocked.

What type of cooler do you have on your videocard? stock?
Do you have any memory heatsinks (ramsinks) ?

LOL, i did the detect optimal freq. then manual oc. And yes, i have bare bones stock cooling, no ramsinks. I am currently saving up for a liquid cooling system. Then I am making the move to the best agp gfx card that is made.

P.S. How far can i push my celeron? I breached 3.8 a couple minutes ago (that's a full 1Ghz OC!!!!
on stock cooling), but it blue screened after 30 seconds.
