I am having a problem about the ram speed, i have
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL11D-8GBSR
and the max mhz is supposed tor run at 17000 mhz, but its currently running at around 2006.7 mhz. I need help in solving this. This is the first cumputer that i ever built and im confused and scared that this might destroy my computer.

Here are the secs of my computer if it helps solving the problem;

Power Supply: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Motherboard; ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

CPU: AMD FX-4130 Zambezi 3.8GHz Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4130FRGUBOX

DVD:ASUS 24X DVD Burner - Bulk 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS - OEM

And my graphics card is an Nvidia GTX 650

and the Hard Drive is a 64gb SSD

All of this is ordered from Newegg except the graphics card, which was from amazon

I dont know much about computers so if any of you were to solve it i may need step-by-step instructions to solve it

4. Actual frequency reached using this memory kit depends on the overclocking margins of the CPU and motherboard installed.
might just be the highest your going to get. Id do a memtest to even see if stable at that temp beside booting

and btw, your mobo not on their qualified mobo list, but might just be for the XMP profile support, since thats intel
