thinking about getting this with the i5 2500k combo. also will be cooled by a h60. im hoping to hit 5ghz or at least 4.5

will it have any bad limitation since its a cheap board?

It's too cheap for 5Ghz.

Get a UD4 at the minimum.

microcenter is having a bundle sale. takes off $40 if u get the i5 2500k with 1155 motherboard.

i wonder if they price match newegg..

the VRM heatsink doesnt look too beefy enough. my concern is that the board wont draw enough power to the CPU for 4ghz+.

only but the boards with the 8pin power connectors?

The MSI should be ok but I'd really go for the UD4 if I were you. Should be able to take you up to 5Ghz.
