actually, it was nothing like that. The Head of the Dev studio said that they would need to sell X amount for a chance a sequel.

1. it WAS a BETA.

2. BF3 BETA pass is a MUST for BF2 lovers...

3. Releasing early before Black Ops also will help sales.

4. Media Attention about being taliban in the game also will help publicity

They need to sell X amount to cover this and then think if a sequel is worth it.

Because it was a beta... They released the change log a few weeks ago, and it was quite lengthy. Plus, I didn't think the beta was that bad, it definitely wasn't great, but it wasn't bad.

you said EA said that MoH was going to struggle. Show me a link saying that.

EA has never said publicly that MOH has to do well. It was specifically a dev.

The Dev said EA said they need to sell 3 million copies, which i dont see being a problem at all for the moh series. They arent expecting it to be a cod or halo killer.

He didn't exactly say "struggle" but you can tell he was uncertain about being a success. He has every right to be uncertain since the game is coming out after Reach, before Black Ops, before Crysis 2... and others, i think but I can't think of them. Either way, those names are already pretty big, so the pool is full of big fish.

game is coming out like 6 months before crysis 2. It's not even competition.

Right now I'm really hoping Medal of Honor can do something because I didn't like Bad Company 2. I wasn't as good I was expecting, maybe because I went into the mind set of it being like Battlefield 2, and Modern Warfare 2, I don't think I have to say anything here?

So I'm hoping Medal of Honor can be the game series that made me love First Person Shooters in the first place and will keep me loving First Person Shooters for years to come.

I do know that it's a bit daunting to get sandwiched between Reach and Black Ops. Anyone who likes all shooters might have to think hard about which to get.

i love how everyone jumps on the "quality of the game = low" bandwagon. i can think of TONs of more recent and unpolished turds, MoH is actually pretty good. basic features/gameplay, but refined nonetheless.

Im sure alot were to get into the early closed beta. I know that's why I did. I`ve since canceled.
