Good.
Amazon.com is the internets largest online retailer, GameStop is the nation’s largest seller of used games they are now at war. Yesterday Amazon announced a new campaign to start purchasing used games from consumers for credit they could use at Amazon.com. After they made this announcement GameStop’s stock dropped a whopping 13%. This move by Amazon threatens GameStop’s greatest source of income, their used game sales, because if people start trading their games in to Amazon then GameStop has fewer used games to sale. Currently Amazon’s trade-in prices are higher then both GameStop and GameCrazy as CNET News has prepared for you to see a small comparison. |
