I'm going to buy a new 22'' monitor (1680x1050) to put next my current 22'' (DELL SP2208WFP).
budget: $100-$180

ill be using it for gaming and movies.

my current 1 is res:1680x1050 , and the 1080p monitors are 1920x1080 wont it affect eachother?

In my opinion: no, unless it's the 120Hz Samsung 2233RZ, but that's out of your budget.
