that one i guess is better because its a ToC, but your gtx 260 can run at a higher res than that, I used to have a core 216 so i might opt for the new above 1080p monitor, as 1680x1050 is kinda old, same with all 16x10 ratio monitors.

thats a good one, i actually would prefer acer or something like that over samsung, because ive had two bad samsung monitors in the past.
oen question does that 23 inch suppor 1680x1050?

Yes, but its not the monitor's native resolution (1920x1080), which means you probably shouldn't get it if you want 1680x1050 reso. Lowering it from 1920x1080 to 1680x1050 will result in pixelated/distorted images.

i would only lower the resolution if it lagged to much on the fullest resolution. like crysis i would probably put it on 1680
That Acer will do you fine. You might want a 2ms response time for gaming though.
when companies sell 2ms, its GtG (Grey to Grey). That is the same as a 5ms BtB (Black to Black) because it takes longer to adjust from black rather than grey. If, you really are worried about running crysis lower, then get a 1680x1050 monitor, im just saying to future proof, get a 16x9 ratio or 1080p monitor.
