Hi Kornowski, does your Gateway package comes with CD/DVD drivers/utility installers?

P.S. I've spot something on that page you gave:

Driver & Download Options

Scan Your PC
Use Gateway Update to locate the latest drivers automatically.

that link: http://support.gateway.com/support/d...ram=gtwupd.exe

Install that and scan to see if proper drivers come up!

Thanks for the reply!

It came with a recovery CD which apparently restores it to 'factory settings' and install drivers and what not, but it didn't do anything.

That link is for customers in the US only, so it won't work for me. It also requires the computer to have the internet, which it doesn't yet, as it doesn't have any drivers. Ironic, eh. Haha.

I've been trying to install Vista on it (since I have the drivers for that
). However, I can't, since the laptop only has 256MB of RAM. I've been looking for a work around, but to no avail. It's odd though, because the computer is apparently 'Vista capable'... bah!
