Yep looks good. I went 2600K from 955BE and never looked back. Sure ul sound like a fanboy saying it but its true:

"Intel IPC takes a dump on AMD, and yes things are so much better"

If you work out even just the power draw difference and add up the costs ul incur with all that extra bulldozer juice sucking 300w+ where as my 2600K with the GPU disabled on my P8P67 mobo uses 87w overclocked at 4.4Ghz on less than stock volts and out performs it and saves enough electricity in your first year to justify the price difference of intel. Click buy! lol

Why not go for a P8Z68-V Pro or if on a tight budget the P8P67 Pro?

I thought it was the Extreme 4 gen 3 as seen here: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157265

It's pretty much the highest rated and best bang for your buck in the SB world atm.

But on newegg.ca it's at $199+shipping, maybe not the best deal then

I agree P8P67 pro is the way to go.
everyone assumes Z68 is better as it costs more but in actual fact there is only 2 differences and not everyone will need those extras,
Z68 is almost the same price as p76 and its an almost guarantee that it wills uport ivy bridge, its kinda unsure about p67

I bought the asrock p67 extreme 4 gen 3 and it comes in tomorrow. That board has PCI-e 3.0 and sata 6.0Gb/s and USB 3.0. Hopefully, it rocks!

Edit: Plus, the board looks pretty cool, with the black and yellow.
