I installed gDesklets, but I managed to get one (a menu bar where you can activate minamized programs) half off the screen. The way it is, if I right click it, all I can get is the menu for the application minimazation settings (is minimazation a word?), and not the desklet settings so I can remove it! It looks like crap sticking out from the side of my screen, and its not even usefull where it is! Please help!

I seem to remember that you can right click on the gDesklets widgets (for lack of a better term) and lock/unlock them from the desktop. So right click > unlock > then drag around the desktop.

you mean the bar is off the screen?

you can right click, remove desklet, then re add the desklet, and you can position it in a nicer place.

or hold your windows button (between ctrl and alt) and middle click drag it to a nicer position... or try alt+f7 to move it.

if it's a single 'starter' thats off the screen, you can remove starters by right clicking them, or drag them around with left click drag, along the bar.

^I cant click on it, because I dont get the settings for the desklet, just for whats ON the desklet. Hold on, I'll post a screen shot showing what I mean.

Ok, as you can see in this screen shot, the bar in the middle right that has program bars on it is what I am trying to remove. However, when I right-click it, all I can bring up is the box that you can see with options for the window list, and not the desklet its self!

Ok, I fixed it! I ended up reinstalling gdesklets, and that worked.
