Thinking about getting a 260-216 cause they just dropped below $200 and i have a question about which brand to get.

EVGA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130434

XFX : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150329

The XFX has a higher memory clock (Rawr 2mhz Ftw) and is also $10 cheaper.
Also a question about the overclocked ones do they overclock more then the stock video cards or have a better heatsink or such? Or are you just paying them to overclock it for you.

You just pay them to overclock it for you.

And I would go with the XFX card, I've owned a few XFX cards and I have nothing but great things to say about the company. Double lifetime warranty is pretty slick too..
Either/or, both companies are have a great support team.
I vote for EVGA. Their warranty isn't voided by overclocking, and they have some good overclocking software, including a voltage tuner that is only for EVGA cards.

Some folks report that they can get higher overclocks from the pre-overclocked cards due to higher binning. That's what I sprang for, and I got over a 100MHz overclock on the core clock. Enjoy your new card!
I would never let stock clocks determine my choice. They are both good companies and stand behind their products. They should OC the same (coolers aside) If it were me, I would get the cheaper one.

Both companies will accept the card back as long as it's in its original physical condition.

Overclocking doesn't void your XFX warranty.

Freee flashdrive, double lifetime warranty..XFX all the way.
Plus a door hanger, better packaging, stickers don't look like they were applied by a Spider monkey.

No mater which you choose, just remember to register your card within 30 days of purchase.

Hope you enjoy your new upgrade.

Is it going in your P4 setup?

Both companies are good. At this point you are really just looking for perks like looks and packaging. Go with whichever looks better. XFX is giving a free flash drive if that sways you lol.
Grab the XFX

They cover overclocking too and have a double lifetime in case you ever want to sell the card.
I've always like XFX myself.

You should put it in the p4 setup and do before and after benchies for the heck of it.

This is news to me, folks, but it's good news. Thought I strongly support EVGA for treating me well over the years, it's good to hear that another company is expanding their support to include damage that is essentially caused by the user. Most companies won't touch a component for RMA if you admit to overclocking.

My only question is how flexible they are on the 'original physical condition.' If you cause physical damage to the card, such as what could be caused by overheating after overclocking, does their warranty hold?

2
both are great, the 2 best companies for nvidia, but im biased towards evga.
I vote XFX. Cant beat the warranty and if you sell it then the new owner will have the lifetime warranty too.
Too bad the xfx comes with a useless gift imo
