I'm building a computer. I'm looking at evga GeForce graphics cards. I'm looking to spend between $150 & $200. I see a 6800XT, 6800GS, 6800GT, 6800LE or whatever...what do all of these letters at the end mean? What's best?

Format is [model: core/mem, pipes, mem type]

6800: 350/600, 12 pipes, DDR
6800XT: 350/600, 8 pipes, GDDR3
6800GT: 350/1000, 16 pipes, GDDR3
6800GS: 425/1000, 12 pipes, GDDR3
6800LE: 300/700, 8 pipes, DDR

GT and GS are the best, then probably XT, vanilla, and LE. Hope that helps

Not really, the xfx is known to overclock a tad higher. Evga has a better warranty, you are allowed to overclock on their cards. Evga also has a step up program that usually isnt worthy, but seeing how the x1900 and a new nvidia card are coming out within 2 months it might be useful since the prices are about to drop. Its personal choice.
