"General Computing" Forum?

I was thinking, Would it be a good idea for a General thread for computer related stuff. I noticed when I had a little computer story to post that didn't really have to do with any one specific component, I didn't really have a place to put it other than off topic. Unless I totally overlooked said place.

The last time I asked this, I was told that, depending on the platform, it should go in either the AMD or Intel General forum.

Hmm, I don't tottaly agree with that, I mean, there are times where I want to just have a general chat about computers, without starting off with the mentions of a specific peice of hardware.

I mean, there is a General Hardware section, but it only has CPU.

There is a General Processors forum, yet that's the only one under General Hardware.

I think it would be nice to have an additional forum under General Hardware, considering that if there is one for Processors, why isn't there one for something else?
