I'm getting a noctua nd-H14 for my i7 as a replacement for my hyper 212+. I also ordered some artic cooling mx-4, as I will need some more thermal paste for this and my sig rig in a few months. Would I be better off using mx-4 or the supplied noctua thermal paste for my i7 920 C0?

Use the MX-4 if you got it otherwise use the Noctua paste.
The Noctua paste is good stuff. Equal if not better than AS-5.

I would use the MX-4 over the stock paste since your chip's a C0, you're gonna need all the help you can get (C0 chip usually requires higher voltage therefore runs hotter than a D0 chip).

Alright, thanks for all the quick responses. I'll definitely use the mx-4 then. Hopefully I can take my i7 to at least 4 GHz with this cooler.
