why? Just go for more ram, a better CPU and a 7900GS (that £140, although overclocks like a champ and will easily be as quick as 2x 7600GT's)

Considering what you have that is a very good option.
Another consideration is to see what happens with the new DX10 series cards and sell of your current one for a single higher end DX10 card... dependant on your budget of course.

I herd that nvidia would bring out a driver for the 7 series cards to make them DX10 compatable......... and it flashes the bios in the installsion lol

then you heard wrong, im agraid. And flash the bios? ***?

buying an SLi setup at the time of building a new System is only worth it on a high-end rig (ie the 2 quickest cards on the market), or if you get them incredibly cheap. Save your money, get a 7900GS, and spent the money you saved on something to speed the rest of your pc up (ie you could do with a quicker CPU and more RAM)

well im afraid he was wrong then, techically it would be possible with a lot of work, but nVidia wont as they want to sell new cards rather than a bios upgrade

He may have read the rumor of an updated DX9 to work with a few of the DX10 features, even if that did happen which I doubt will, the design of the true DX10 vid cards is far to advanced for the 9x type cards to make much differance.

So much keeps changing and it's difficult to know what will be untill it almost is!

7600GT SLI is very good, but just getting a 7950GT or maybe X1950 Pro would be a better idea. SLI may win benchmarks, but the performance varies in actual gameplay.
