I plan on building a PC with either an i7 3930k or 3770k in the next week or so. Will most likely be running the Asus Rampage IV Extreme or Asus Maximus V Extreme.

It will be running triple monitors with anywhere from 6-12 clients of EVE online running at a time. Honestly alone it isn't a very demanding game but when running that many clients it does add up.

I also want to be able to play games like Crysis and Farcry on the higher settings.

Probably looking at a budget of 600 bucks or so far cards but honestly if I need to scale up I can save up and either just wait to order cards or buy 1 expensive one and add on as I get the money.

I had originally planned on doing 3x 660 GTX cards one powering each monitor. But was told I would be better off with 256 bit cards so now I am kind of at a loss.

Please let me know what route you think I should go!

This is completely of topic, but why are you running 12clients of that game?
Are you even playing the game in that way? Hard to imagine lol
