This is not delving into that fact that the two play and are controlled 100% completely different, which you should very well know having played them both through MANY times. I mean, are you really basing this on the fact that a couple of the demon construct models look like the constructs from WoW? Really? Other then that it looks 100% Diablo.

Diablo 1 was great, Diablo 2 was great, I loved the controls and the play style.
WoW is great, Its controls are pretty good and the play style is cool.
That being said, the games are (like you said) very different. Which is precisely why I disagree with Blizzard calling this isometric single-player wow clone a Diablo game.

for your wow clone comment... I dont really know why everyone here likes to jump on the bandwagon so much. Go and play D2 again, its not really as dark as you think. The lack of lighting in general made it seem much more grittier than it was.
