Sony's PS3 shooter Killzone 2 has stormed the UK charts at number one this week, making it the first all-formats number one for the firm in almost two years.

The title becomes the fourth fastest-selling game for Sony in the UK, and the second fastest-seller on the PlayStation 3 behind GT5 Prologue.

Last week's number one, Street Fighter IV, saw sales drop 49 per cent as it slipped to number three according to GfK Chart track data, leaving Microsoft's Halo Wars to enter the charts at number two.

Apart from Professor Layton and the Curious Village at number five, all the other titles in the top ten lost sales for the week ended February 28.

The only other new entry this week is Konami's Silent Hill: Homecoming, which debuts at a respectable number 11.

Yeah, Ben 10 is one of those Fairly Oddparents/SpongBob type of cartoons thats fun enough but not dumb, so adults can enjoy.

as for the news in this article....I mean i guess it's good news for Sony, but horrible news overall in that they haven't had a chart topper in 2 years. That is downright horrible.
I don't like any of those games.. am I weird?

I wonder how they calculated these charts? Sales per week?

above halo wars? that's one hell of a feat..

Although come to think of it, pretty much everyone I've spoken to has bought this game already. Through word of mouth or just through hype or anticipation. I'm glad for the guys at guerilla they worked hard for a long time on this game.
They must be loving that 200ms input lag.

^^They must be. Best FPS I have played in a long time including COD. I guess some people just cant deal with a little bit of change.
I have it at home. Haven't taking the time to sit down and play it yet.

love how misinformed people who call it "200ms lag". Now we even have a number. ROFL

Anyways, this is no surprise considering this game is a UK made game. Its like Japan, a Japan game sells by the truck load.

The game was developed mainly in Europe to my knowledge.
And also the video interview stuff Sony has (Qore) had the host go to Europe

What lag?
If it's that ******ed aim lag crap that's been going around... you best be trolling. If it's the online thing, then I understand xD.

I noticed some lag from when I pulled the trigger to a bullet / gunshot and so on, but like maybe 50ms at max, just barely noticeable

IS this actually true?

It definitely isn't 200 ms. He is talking about the same thing that you are however. It's probably closer to like 20ms or so.

Too bad it's not going to save the PS3's fate back into the top now.

But Killzone 2 looked nice. It's up there with MGS4. And it was way better than the original one.
well yeah every PS3 owner bought it. plus them euro peeps dont like 360s. its not "Chic" enough for em

I personally havent noticed lag input like shooting (I have noticed death lag when you kill someone in multiplayer), but when you do turn - it is slow. The reason why its slow is because the developers made each weapon have its own "weight". Depending on which weapon you have, you might turn faster. The pistol, from what I've played, you can turn a bit faster then the assault rifle.
