Gigabyte EP45-U3DP / Q9650 Multiplier fluctuates

Hey Guys,

New install with Q9650 on Gigabyte EP45-U3DP using the F7 bios. The multiplier fluctuates between 6 and 9. I have disabled EIST in the bios. Also I set Vista Performance to Maximum. I cannot think of what else to do to fix this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disable C1E, Speedstep along with the EIST in your BIOS. It'll fix it, it did on my UD3R.

make sure c1e is also disabled, that will also reduce your multi. diesel beat me to it.
