Gigabyte P55-UD4P or MSI P55-GD65?

Need some help picking out a good crossfire board that can OC nicely for a friend's build. I was originally going to go with the P55-UD3R from Gigabyte but the second PCI-E slot is only x4 (1.1). Both boards look really nice on paper, but which board (and company) do you prefer?

Gigabyte P55-UD4P: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-400-_-Product

or

MSI P55-GD65: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-239-_-Product

The Gigabyte looks like it has superior cooling as well.

Do you know if the MSI supports x16 x16 Crossfire?

If so, get that. Otherwise, go with the Gigabyte.

I think that's a 775 board? Regardless, I think Gigabyte would be preferred by the majority of OCN over MSI.

Not used the P55-GD65 but I have used the GD80(the GD65 is just a cut down version) and the GD80 is a wonderful board to work with.

With regards to cooling the main heatsink arangement on the UD4P isn't connected to the P55 chip(remember P55 is only one chip not two) So cooling to that is no better. The Mofests cooling on the Giga is superior most likely then to the MSI board however the PWM system MSI use's is superior to what gigabyte uses however(not that you'd notice a difference).

Personally I prefer the look of the Giga board but from a Slot point of view the Msi is better. If you only going to be running a single gfx card then the slot layout matters little
