You can check the date they were created through a BIOS editor, but really most of the BIOSes are new. I think the latest BIOS fixed some Touch BIOS issues, but yea its pretty new tech so there are going to be bugs.

You should always flash from the BIOS.

If you are having good luck with F6 the ones you downloaded, then stick with that, youc an also look into beta BIOSes.
