Gigabyte Z77-D3H overclock capabilities

I want to upgrade from my i5 3570 non k to a i7 3770K, with my motherboard will I be able to properly run and overclock the i7?

hello,
Yes, since there both LGA 1155 sockets. But I do read where the board will only let you use the muliplyers, and not full use of other things like voltage. Which really wouldnt be be the best setup for overclocking.

D3H has voltage unlocked. Should be fine for moderate OCs.
