Hi, sorry I did not explain properly. The screenshot was taken while using the old mATX board with E8400 Wolfdale.
Before I used the Mini iTX board, I just wanted to make sure the new RAM modules were ok.

While doing that, I found out that all the intermittant booting up problems (that I had before), finally disappeared to my big surprise !
That means that my old RAM (Geil Black Dragon) is unreliable crap !
They were the cause fo me having had so much headache, but who would have guessed that error messages in Windows can be because of faulty RAM ?
Considering how cheap RAM is these days, it's not even worth it me sending back the modules I guess.

The new G.Skill RAM modules work absolutely great while Geil's RAM looks just awesome with the dragon eyes LEDs, but that's no use if the chips are ****.
The blue aluminium sink from G.Skill loosk not bad either.

Hi, yeah it's a PCI 2.0 16x slot ... but the onboard IGP is surprisingly good tbh.

This is like, my dream build for some reason haha, I love tiny motherboards.
Anywho, onto the IGP.
Do you think it'd be good enough for ubuntu's compiz and it's extra visual effects ?

OMg. I wanted to do the same thing for a while now.
Few questions:

What kind of card can you fit in there?
Two... based on the limited spae for the power modules, how far can ya overclock the quad?

Hi, I have to say that the fun already started after having installed Windows 7 on that SSD drive.

The speed is incredible !!,
the noise is ZERO !!,
the device itself is cold - not even warm !!,
the weight is a joke (80 gr for SSD vs 630 gr for HDD) !!
and the size ... well you have seen the pics !!

There is NO going back to spinning platters as boot up device for me anymore.
The WD10EADS is just for data storage, and for that it does a good job.
... Silent, cool, fast enough.
And if I want to, I just disconnect the HDD before switching on the system, resulting in the most silent (and powerful) system I ever had.

Hi, another Mini iTX fan ... YAY !!! They are great systems aren't they ?
People's first reaction is "Oh, what a sweet little bugger." but when they hear the specifications and see the performance ... second reaction "Oh my f****g good !!" haha.
