Good 2.1 speakers $100-150

Well, My Logitech Z-540s died. I'm looking for a 2.1 set. I no longer have the space for 5.1s. I use my HD555s a lot because I like the sound. I would like someone of similar quality, but in speakers. I'm looking in the range of $100-150. It will be used with my sig rig.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I want something with a little more power. I don't think a 12W sub would be powerful enough

1. Look up Logitech Z-2300
2. Buy
3. ?????
4. PROFIT!
How would those logitech's compare to the Klipsch 2.1s?
You can't go wrong with the Z 2300's, the sound quality is pretty amazing,
Ive owned mine for about 3 years now and cranked them up and still sound the same, can't go wrong with THX imo

I have them, and I LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!! Ear piercing loud at 50% volume...stupidly loud at 100%, great base, crisp in every range from low to high. The Sub is the best part, it has enough bump to shake my blinds

I second.. Although my favorites are no longer available. The Klipsch THX 200 watt.
Get the Audioengine A2's they're just a little above your range and only a 2.0 system, but despite that they have good bass and are an amazing steal at their price.

+1

I wouldn't say amazing steal at the $199 price but for $149 that's a steal and I have the coupon code for 25% off.

I have a set of A2s and I find myself sometimes listening to them over my Mackie MR5s & MR8s. Plus aren't they super sexy...

Hmmm, any other opinions on the Audioengine A2's?
Logitech Z-2300 for some cheap good (To my untrained ear) sound, (Man these things get loud)
The old THX All black Klipsch are better IMO than the Logitech IF you can find them buy now. They stopped making then this year. Not because they were no good but because alot of people won't pay the money for Quality PC Speakers. I have a set of the Klipsch THX and I would not trade them for any other speaker but.. If I had to replace them i would get the Logitech.

I'm not really concerned with output too much. I don't want them to sound weak, but I rarely listen to music over a low level. If I want to be immersed in the sound I will use headphones.
